As part of the regulations set out by The Payment Card Industry Council we are upgrading our systems to ensure compliance to their standards and safety for our customers.
The PCI Council was created by key credit card companies such as Visa and MasterCard and they set out global standards for all systems that accept credit card payments.
If you use the Asteron Life website, you may be affected by this change, depending on the web browser or operating system you use.
Based on the web browser or operating system you are currently using; you may not be able to access the Asteron Life website effective 9th June 2018, if you do not take necessary action before then.
If your web browser is incompatible, you will continue to receive a security alert message until you have taken action to upgrade your browser or operating system to a compatible version.
Note: If you use multiple computers/devices, please log in on each of these before 9th June 2018 to determine their compatibility and take the necessary action.
We have created a table below, for you to identify what actions are required based on your browser or operating system. For most users, you will just need to upgrade your browser to the newest version. However, for some users you may need to upgrade your operating system if it is no longer actively supported by Microsoft or Apple.
You will need to follow the actions before 9th June 2018 to ensure continued access to the website.
It is different for each browser, but can generally be found under the Help tab or the settings icon in the top right hand side of your browser. “About <insert name of browser, e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer>” This will then tell you what version you are running.
Use the Browser Compatibility List to determine if your current browser is compatible. Note: If your browser is unable to be updated, or you are still receiving the message after the update it may that your operating system is no longer supported by Microsoft or Apple. In this instance, you will need to upgrade your operating system.
