Competition Terms and Conditions: Asteron Life Connected Care Customer prize draw to win a Garmin Sports Watch

1. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified from time to time.

1. Promoter: The promotion is being run by Asteron Life Limited, with its registered office at Asteron Centre Level 13/55 Featherston Street, Pipitea, Wellington 6011 (the “Promoter”).

2. Competition Period: This competition starts 8am 20 April 2023 and ends 12am 15 May 2023.

3. Competition eligibility and entry key details:

Eligibility: To be eligible to enter into this Asteron Life Connected Care Customer prize draw you must:

(a) be an active and in force Asteron Life policy owner during the Competition Period; and

(b) have either Income Protection, Trauma, Cancer or Disability Cover; or

(d) a qualifying legacy cover type (contact Asteron Life for details of qualifying legacy cover types).

Entry Requirements: To enter the competition, you must have signed up to the Asteron Life Connected Care portal at www.asteronlifeconnectedcare.co.nz. Correctly entered your personal details and used your correct Policy Number in the “Policy Number or Employer Name’ field. You can only enter once.

Prize: There are a total of five (5) Garmin Smart watches to be won in the Asteron Life Connected Care Customer prize draw by 5 customers (a “Prize Winner”). Each Prize Winner will receive one (1) Garmin Smart watch each (a “Prize").

The model of Garmin Smart watch will be determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion. The prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prizes.

Prize Draw: The Five (5) Prize Winners will be randomly drawn by Teladoc Health from the eligible entries received during the Competition Period on Monday 22 May 2023. Teladoc Health will contact the Prize Winners to request permission to share the Prize Winners contact details with the Promoter for the purposes of delivery of the prizes.

The Prize Winners will be contacted within 14 days of the end of the Competition Period by phone and email to notify the winning of a Prize. If, after making reasonable attempts, the Promoter cannot contact the winner(s) within 14 days of phone and/or email notification, the winner will not be eligible to receive the Prize and the Prize will be redrawn on the same terms and conditions, until a winner is successfully contacted.

Claims and Delivery of Prize: The winners will be required to provide the Promoter with their mailing address to receive the prize. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the prize within a reasonable time. The Promoter is not responsible for any delays in the delivery of the prize or for any loss or damage to the prize in transit.

General Conditions: By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other instructions or guidelines provided by the Promoter in connection with the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions, or any other instructions or guidelines provided by the Promoter. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts. Policy cover with Asteron Life Limited is subject to our standard underwriting conditions. Limits, excesses, terms, conditions and exclusions apply to the insurance cover referred to.

Limitation of Liability: The Promoter will not be liable for any losses, damages or expenses incurred by the winner in connection with the Prize or for any other losses or damages arising out of or in connection with the competition.

Privacy: By participating in the competition, participants agree that Teladoc Health Australasia Pty Limited, may share the winners’ contact details only with the Promoter for the sole purpose of contacting the winners to notify them that they have won the Prize and to deliver that prize. By entering the competition, the winners’ consent to the Promoter and their advertising agencies using the winners’ first name for marketing and promotional purposes.

Asteron Life Limited will collect your and any joint policyholder’s personal information. Your personal information will be held by us in accordance with our privacy policy which can be accessed online. Any request to access or correct your personal information should be directed to Asteron Centre Level 13/55 Featherston Street, Pipitea, Wellington 6011, or by calling 0800 737 101, (8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday).

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
